Frank Jordan Smarr

Frank Jordan Smarr, answered his call to his “House of Smarr” in glory on Friday, September 20, 2019.  He was born June 9, 1941, to the late Nettie Reed Rice and Thomas Russell Smarr.  He leaves to mourn:  his wife, Edwina Allen Smarr; children – Lamont (Donna) and Kaila (Wendell); brother, James (Lorraine) and their children, James, Jr. (Toni) and Stephanie; in-laws, Norman (Elaine) Allen, Thomas (Ertha) Allen, JoEtta Allen and Anna Allen (Charles) Edwards; 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
He was proceeded in death by siblings Helen Smarr Connor and John Russell Smarr.
His funeral will be Monday, September 30,2019, at noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, 237 E. Fifth Street, Lexington, KY.  Visitation will begin at 10 a. m. until the time of service.  Burial will be in the Camp Nelson Cemetery.
