Jerry Lane Royalty

Jerry Lane Royalty, husband of Vicky Rope Royalty, passed away on December 1, 2019 at the U.K. Bluegrass Hospice Care Center, having attained the age of 63.   He was born in Paris, KY on September 30, 1956, the son of the late Gilbert and Almedia Royalty, a graduate of Bourbon County High School and was a member of Paris Church of Christ.   He worked in the maintenance department for the Bourbon County School System for twenty-three years, was a baseball and football coach, played guitar, and was a member of the Bourbon Street Cruisers.

Besides his wife Vicky, he is survived by his two sons, Christopher Royalty and Joshua Royalty; and grandsons, Jaxon Turner, Levi Yellman, and Adam Sebastian, Jr.   Also surviving are two brothers, Gary Royalty and Larry Royalty (Tina), as well as a niece Aimee Royalty and a nephew, Bradley Royalty.

The funeral service for Jerry Lane Royalty was held on Friday, December 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Clay Leonard officiating.   Interment will follow in North Middletown Cemetery with casket bearers being Lee Ingram, Wes Tipton, Gary Reed, Jim Allen, Butch Martin, and Daniel Brainard. Honorary bearers are the Bourbon Street Cruisers, Russell Rogers, Jack Ingram and Ethan Crawford.
