Martha A. Clark

Martha A. Clark, 91, widow of the late Dave Clark, died Friday March 6, 2020 at the Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Paris, KY.
A native of Bourbon County, KY she was the daughter of the late Ethel Franklin.
Ms. Clark has always been a member of Zion Baptist Church.  She lived a happy full life.  Every morning she would start her day saying the Lord’s Prayer.  She was ready every morning to thank the Lord for a sound mind and for giving her another day.
In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Eleanor Turpin and Linda Dravie.
She leaves behind two daughters, Brinda (Charles) Christopher and Carolyn Clark; one son-in-law, Henry Turpin; seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and a host of cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday March 12, 2020 at the Zion Baptist Church, 312 W. 8th St., Paris, KY by Rev. Aaron Crumbie.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Thursday March 12, 2020 until the hour of service at the church.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.

    I always called her Mrs Martha. Respect was something you never took for granted when you were around her, it was automatic. I thank you Mrs Martha for Linda and most of all I thank you for that smile you always seemed to produce when no one else found a reason to do so. I may have been “Out of the loop” for these many years but I’ve never forgotten you, my second Mother.Rest in peace Mrs Martha. Bill

    Martha was a wonderful, kind and loving friend. We will miss our visits with her when we visit Paris. We would have great conversations and lots of laughs. Our prayers will be with you.
