Theodore Elmore Toadvine Jr.

Theodore Elmore Toadvine Jr. better known as Teddy or Ted as Cyndi called him, was born March 7, 1949 in Paris, Bourbon County, KY. He is the son of Theodore and Elsie Maude Ginter Toadvine. Teddy was named after his father, a name he was very proud of. Teddy passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
In 1986 he married his sweetheart Cyndi in the Washington DC Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for time and all eternity. In 1990 they became a family of five with children Jennifer Toadvine who passed away in 2004, Josie (John) Evans, and Benjamin (Amy) Toadvine. Teddy was a Grandpa to Braxton, Savanah, Maddi, Trinity, Abbie, Kendra, and Trey.
He is survived by three siblings Patsy (Randy) Clark of Coleville, Utah. Ellajo Bolton of Millersburg, KY, and Donnie (Connie) Toadvine of Paris, KY.
Teddy was a graduate of Bourbon County High School and Morehead State University, an accomplishment he was so very proud of.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved to serve in his church and in his community. Some of the things he did was coach little league baseball. He was a basketball coach for the YMCA youth program as well as a youth basketball coach for the church for many years. He was also an active member of the Paris Kiwanis Club for many years, along with the 101 committee for UK. He was a Sunday School Teacher, Nursery Leader, Scout Leader, and Seminary Teacher. His passion was doing his family history and he enjoyed helping others. Ted also enjoyed working in the KY Louisville Temple. Teddy would have gone everyday if he could and was sad when everything shut down due to Covid.
If you needed Teddy he was always there and ready to help, he loved his family, friends, and his country. But most of all he loved his Heavenly Father and his savior Jesus Christ.
Pallbearers will include Benjamin Toadvine, Braxton Craig, John Evans, Jim Allen, Joe Fritsch, and Tim Smith. Honorary Pallbearers Nieces & Nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
Funeral Services will be private Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 920 Clintonville Rd, Paris, KY 40361 by Bishop Steve Pearce. Burial will be in Millersburg Cemetery.
