Virginia Ann Stivers Fryman
Virginia Ann Stivers Fryman, 84, wife of James A. Fryman for 65 years, died Monday, December 7, 2020 at her home in Millersburg, KY.
A native of Carlisle, KY, she was the daughter of the late Laurel and Georgia Traylor Stivers. She was a member of the Carlisle Christian Church and a 1954 graduate of Nicholas County High School.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Susan (Clark) Short and Mark (Susan) Fryman; five grandchildren, Jake Fryman, Josh (Chasta) Fryman, Gabby (Steven) Mitchell, Melanie (Chad) Dumbris and Michael (Jamie) Short; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Marion Stivers; a special brother-in-law, Clay Livengood and nieces, nephews and friends that were special to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Imogene Livengood; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Stivers and Joan Fryman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2020 at the M.E. Pruitt Funeral Home, 303 Main Street, Millersburg, KY by Bro. Steve Short. Burial will be in the Millersburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, December 10th at M.E. Pruitt Funeral Home, Millersburg.
Pallbearers will be Josh Fryman, Jake Fryman, Steven Mitchell, Clark Short, Timmy Livengood and Doug Clem.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Curry, Clay Livengood, Chad Dumbris, Johnny Caskey and David Braunig.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Carlisle Christian Church, 242 N. Locust St., Carlisle, KY 40311 or the Bluegrass Care Navigators, 1733 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40504.
