Tony Woodson Crumbie
Tony Woodson Crumbie, aged 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Baptist Health in Lexington, KY, following a prolonged illness.
Born in Paris, KY, Tony was the son of the late Samuel Woodson Crumbie and Anna Pearl Summers Crumbie. He grew up attending the First Baptist Church of Paris, KY. An alumnus of Paris High School, Tony furthered his studies at Eastern Kentucky University. While he initially ventured into the telecommunications field, it wasn’t long before he recognized his true calling in technology and electronics. This led him to establish TVC Tech Computer Services, where he spent many years providing innovative solutions to his clients. An avid sports enthusiast, Tony was a loyal supporter of the Minnesota Vikings and the Louisville Cardinals. He also had a deep love for music, especially Jazz. Whenever you chatted with him, you’d likely hear some variety of music playing in the background. He often served as the DJ for events for family and friends.
Tony is survived by one daughter, Paige Crumbie of Atlanta, GA; her mother, Paula Granville of Cincinnati, OH; three siblings, Tanya (James) Burbridge of Frankfort, KY; Tim (Donna) Crumbie of Lexington, KY; and Tyron (Shelia) Crumbie of Lexington, KY; one stepdaughter, Keisha Granville of Cincinnati, OH; one niece, BriAnna Burbridge of Frankfort, KY; and extended family members Nick, Connor, and Makenna Slone of Richmond, KY, as well as a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by a special friend, Veronica Suttles of Cincinnati, OH.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main Street, Paris, KY. Visitation will precede the service, taking place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on the same day at the funeral home.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
