Timothy Earl “Tim” Blevins

Timothy Earl “Tim” Blevins, age 59, died Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born June 17, 1966 in Lexington, son of Dorcas Hutchison Blevins and the late Robert E. Blevins. Tim was a graduate of Bourbon County High School and was a member of the Clintonville Christian Church where he was active in the Willing Workers Class and loved God, always willing to pray for those in need. He was a participant in the Bourbon County Chapter Special Olympics and the Joseph Allen Adult Day Care Center where he was a member of the JAC Bell Ringers. Tim was instrumental in getting sign language in the Bourbon County School System. He loved animals, babies, watching wrestling and the Ninja Turtles, and loved to sing.
Tim is survived by his mother, Dorcas Blevins; a brother, David Landon Blevins; uncle, Raymond (Clara) Hutchison; aunts, Edwina Taylor, Anna (Bobby) Brandenburg, Mary Crouch; and several cousins. In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Hutchison Sr., Mary Carpenter Hutchison, Virgil Blevins, Marie Berger; aunt, Vicky Boone Hutchison; favorite cousin, Cheryl Ann Taylor; and friend, Dusty Sheely.
Visitation was 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Clintonville Christian Church. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, at the Clintonville Christian Church with Rev. Charles H. Kemp officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date on the family lot in the Clintonville Cemetery.
