Shirley Rogers Withrow Clark

Shirley Rogers Withrow Clark of Paris, Kentucky, age 89, departed this life on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Legacy Center of Willows at Hamburg in Lexington, Kentucky. Shirley was born in Defiance, Ohio on July 23, 1934, the daughter of the late Byron and Christine Burdick Rogers, received her master’s degree from the University of Kentucky, taught middle school, high school, as well as college English, was a member of the U.K. Alumni Association, and was of the Presbyterian faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Withrow, and her late husband, Marshall Clark.

Surviving are three sons, Mark Withrow, Mike (Mary Ann) Withrow, Steve Withrow; six grandchildren, Katie (Randy) Winegardner, Erika (Garrett) Chapman, Abbie Withrow, Michael (Kim) Withrow, Shriver Withrow, and Estelle Withrow. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Roman Adkins, Sawyer Winegardner, Bella Chapman, Esther Winegardner, and Hazel Withrow.
