Darrell Keith Leggett

Darrell Keith Leggett, a cherished family man and friend, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2024, in Lexington, KY, at the age of 66. Born on April 25, 1958, in Paris, KY, Darrell’s life was one marked by love, laughter, and dedication.

Darrell is lovingly remembered by his son, Nate (Julie) Leggett; his adored grandchildren, Haley Martin and Dalton Leggett; his mother, Delores Frederick Ward; and his brothers, Terry (Sandra) Leggett, Finny Leggett, Bradley Leggett, and Junior Leggett. His mother-in-law, Jeanette Faulconer, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, also survive him. Darrell was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Victoria “Vickie” Lynn Faulconer Leggett, and his father, Birl Leggett.

A retired employee of CSX Railroad and a longtime volunteer at Central KY Vet Clinic, Darrell’s work ethic and camaraderie were appreciated by all who worked alongside him.

Darrell’s passions included fishing, working with animals and riding motorcycles, activities that brought him immense joy and relaxation. Those who knew Darrell will remember him as a loving, funny, and thoughtful individual, whose presence brought warmth and humor to every occasion.

Darrell’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and the enduring strength of familial bonds. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A memorial visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday June 6, 2024 at The Livery, Pleasant St., Paris, KY.
