Kenneth Lee Addison

Kenneth Lee Addison, age 94, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Heidelberg, Kentucky – Lee County, to the late Millard F. Addison and Eva Quillen Addison. He worked at IBM for 33 years and was a longtime member of Bedford Acres Christian Church. He loved working in his garden and spending time with his large family as well as traveling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Winford R. Addison, Lavina A. Hughes, Joe Addison, Polly A. McDaniel, and Clifford Addison.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Delong Addison; a daughter, Andrea Addison (Eugene W. Jr.) Kiser.; grandson, Jonathon W. Kiser (Cindy Underwood); granddaughters, Evelyn “Lynlea” Kiser, and Addison “Addy” Kiser; sisters, June Clemons, Mary Jane (Bob)Wilson, Ada Francis (Paul) Durbin; and a brother, Russell Addison. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Kenneth Lee Addison will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Carl Willoughby officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery with casket bearers being Jonathan “Will” Kiser, Brian Hughes, John Clemons, James Addison, Scott Addison, Greg Wilson, Thomas Addison, and Austin Addison. Honorary bearers are Russell Addison, Jerry Rose, Jerry Douglas, Paul Durbin, and Bob Wilson. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until time for the service.
