Geraldine Copeland McFarland

Geraldine Copeland McFarland, 85, of Kannapolis and formerly of Paris, Kentucky, peacefully passed away Wednesday evening, February 19, 2025, at home, following a period of declining health.
Born November 28, 1939, in Kenton County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Faun Opal Wolfe. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her much-loved husband, Robert Lee McFarland.
Professionally, Mrs. McFarland had been a Real Estate Broker for many years. Always welcoming others with open arms, Geraldine believed there was “always room at the table”, and was GiGi to many. A loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Family members include her children, Martin Lee McFarland (Elizabeth), Lori Gail (Harold), Phillip Wayne McFarland and Pamela Marie Barringer (Bobby); her siblings, Marietta Reed, Pat Dorsey, Jonnie Kendall, and Robert and Richard Copeland; 10 grandchildren; 9 Great-grandchildren and large extended family members.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday March 29, 2025, at the First Christian Church, 911 High St., Paris, KY.
