Dixieana Brainard

Dixieana Brainard, 20, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and granddaughter, tragically passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. She was born on September 29, 2004, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Daniel and Amanda Brainard.
Dixie was a proud graduate of Bourbon County High School, where she was a dedicated member of the FFA. Known for her radiant smile and infectious personality, Dixie touched the lives of everyone she met. She was an incredibly loving mother to her son, Kayce, and cherished her role as a sister and daughter. Above all, Dixie was deeply rooted in her faith, believed strongly in God and attended Donaldson Road Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
Dixie leaves behind her son, Kayce L. Brainard; her sisters, Kayla B. Brainard, Aubrey L. Brainard, and Trinity R. Brainard; her brother, Asa L. Brainard; her grandparents, Virginia Brainard and Marvin (Lisa) Frederick; her uncles, William Brainard, Marc (Amber) Brainard and Jacob (Becky) Frederick; her aunts, Sara Brainard and Jessica (Jerry) Stone; and 10 cousins. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Dixie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Karen Hardin and Robert Brainard.
Her warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 12 at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel by Bro. Cecil Curtis. Burial will follow in the North Middletown Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00AM on Saturday until the time of service at the Chapel.
