Evelyn Pearl Marsh Hieatt McCauley

Evelyn Pearl Marsh Hieatt McCauley, 84 of Cynthiana, Ky, she passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Relatives and friends may gather with the family for a Celebration of Life service which will be held at the Berry Baptist Church in Berry, Ky on July 19, 2025 starting at 11:00 a.m. with a service and meal to follow.
Evelyn was born July 15, 1940 to William Floyd and Evelyn Delores Florence Marsh. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by Clifford McCauley, and Brother Billy Neal Marsh. Evelyn is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul Clifford McCauley, daughter Diane Carol Hieatt, sister Jane Marsh Moreland, a brother Melvin Marsh, sister-in-law Patricia Bailey. She loved her grandchildren, Megan Kunkel (husband Ted Kunkel), Ashley Doolin (husband Brian Doolin), Gema McCauley, and Ronan McCauley. Great-grandchildren are Eloise and Teddy Kunkel, and Parkey and Ronix Doolin.
Evelyn was actively involved with her community and church. Together she and Paul farmed, operated, and built Fluff and Fold Laundry, Handy Dandy Maid Service, Brooksville Laundry and Car Wash, and Serenity Subdivision Development. Evelyn was a longtime Harrison County Homemaker, serving as President of the Oddville Club. She was a Farm Bureau member. A lifetime member of the Gideon’s, and also range the bell for the Salvation Army. Most of all, she loved her church and the Lord Jesus, and accepted Him as her savior. Evelyn loved her extended family, members, friends, and visits with the grandchildren, taking short vacations, growing flowers, and her pet animals.
