Edith Mildred Leach Stephenson

Edith Mildred Leach Stephenson, age 96, of Cynthiana, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus in Cynthiana. She was born on December 5, 1928, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, to the late Orie B. and Pearl Collins Leach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Stephenson, Paris, Kentucky; her siblings, Kenneth B. Leach of Cynthiana, Francis Leach Jarnagin of Fairborn, Ohio; and nephews, Sean Jarnagin, and Everett Charles Skeen and wife Rita.
Edith was a member of Bedford Acres Christian Church, Paris, Kentucky, and a retiree of the Department of the Army, Avon Depot located in Avon, Kentucky.
Surviving are her nephews: Kenneth R. Leach and wife Laura, Bruce Jarnagin and wife Claudia; nieces, Terri Trame and husband Joe, Brenda Bechtolt and husband Ralph; along with sixteen great nieces and nephews; and thirty-two great great nieces and nephews.
The visitation for Edith Mildred Leach Stephenson will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m., Bro. Dean Scott officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Carlisle Cemetery with casket bearers being Kiel Rodman, Colin Tipton, Kevin Tipton, Andrew Christopherson, Dalton Trame, and Rod Bryant. Honorary bearers are Joe Trame, Keithen Tipton, Kenneth Ray Leach, Rick Hash, Sr., Calvin Collins, Donnie Barker, Dana Barker, Randy Dailey, Troy Bess, and Lee Tillery.
