James Daugherty Million
James Daugherty Million, age 85, husband of Barbara Myers Million of Paris, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Hartland Park in Lexington, Kentucky. James was born in Paris on March 02, 1940, the son of the late Lucille Payne and Frank Million Sr., attended Paris High School, was retired from Paris City Schools where he had worked as a custodian, and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He had been a Scout Master with Troop 63 BSA, enjoyed watching Westerns and U.K. basketball on T.V., taking trips to Florida, Colorado, Louisiana, visiting family, and playing cards, especially rummy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Jane Wallingford, Frank Million, Jr., and Logan Million.
Along with his wife Barbara, he is survived by his son, James F. Million and daughter-in-law, Kimberly; brothers, Thomas D. Million, Bobby G. (Clara) Million; a step-grandchild, Jacob Toney, and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation for James Daugherty Million will be on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral beginning at 1:00 with Rev. Jonathan Graves officiating. Interment will follow in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Jacob Toney, Ronnie Berryman, Lonnie Buckler, Wayne Myers, Mark Brown, David Foreman, and Tony Sosby. Honorary bearers are the Deacons at Central Baptist Church.
