Martha Martin Bramel

Martha Martin Bramel,74 of Mount Sterling passed away Tuesday October 7th, 2025 at her residence . She was born July 16, 1951 in Montgomery County ,KY to the late Nelson Martin and Rosie Mae Hutchinson. She retired from the Paris City school system as the Chapter 1 coordinator. She loved spending time with her family and was raised by her late step mother Lucille Martin.
She is survived by her son, James N. Bramel of Mt. Sterling, KY; her daughter, Lisa Bramel(Harry Sargent,Jr.) of Mt. Sterling, KY; a brother, Robert Allen Martin of Mt. Sterling, KY; also surviving is her grandson, Jacob Ison.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Bramel, Jr.; and her brother, Roy Clay Martin.
Funeral Services were held Friday October 10th, 2025 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling, Ky with Rev. Glenn Emery officiating, burial followed at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation was held from Noon to 2pm Friday October 10th, 2025 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers were Casey Bramel, Richard Bramel, James Bramel, Jacob Ison, Chad Murphy and Kevin Newton. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Goldy, Harry Sargent,Jr., Gary Martin and David Wheeler. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital in Memphis TN.
