Mary Page Colcord Dunlap, widow of John Branham Dunlap died November 2, 2025 surrounded by her family in Lancaster Ky
Originally from Charleston WV, she has been residing in Danville Ky then Lancaster since 1996.
Born February 16, 1925 in Charleston W. VA to Eugene L. Colcord and Josephine (Morris) Colcord.
Education consisted of the National Cathedral School and Holton arms in Washington, DC and was a graduate of Rollin’s college, Winter Park, Fl where she was president of Pi Beta Phi fraternity and editor of the freshman year book, she earned a bachelors degree in English.
While living in Versailles, Ky where she raised her family of two girls she was a member of the Pisgah Presbyterian Church where she served as deacon and elder. She was a past member of the Lexington junior league, was a member of the St. Aspha chapter of the DAR, the little garden club of Woodford County and the Danville garden club. She founded the Buckley Hills Audubon society and was instrumental in all phases of the daily operations of the C.E. Buckley wildlife sanctuary in Woodford County.
Survivors include Page (Dunlap) Mead, her husband tom Mead of Vero Beach Fl, Joanna Colcord (Dunlap) Kirby, her husband Michael Kirby of Lancaster, Ky, granddaughters Maria Steverson, Frankfort, Ky, Sytira (Kirby) Saunders, Ben Saunders, Richmond, Va, great grandchildren, Will and Sophie Rudder Frankfort, Ky and Kirby Saunders Richmond, Va.

Services were held at the Pisgah Presbyterian church, Versailles, Ky. Visitation was on Saturday November 8, 2025 beginning at 11am-1pm and services were held immediately afterwards in the church and then cemetery.
