Douglas Layton Wagoner

Louisville – Douglas Layton Wagoner 84, Louisville KY, retired from a career in sales, husband of Judy Mattingly Wagoner, died November 7, 2025 at his home in Louisville KY. He was born March 12, 1941 in Bourbon County, graduate of Bourbon County High School. Doug is survived by sons Travis Wagoner, Louisville; Mark (Kate) Wagoner, Louisville; John (Haley) Wagoner, Flordia; a grandson James Wagoner; granddaughters Vera Wagoner and Elizabeth Wagoner; sisters Anne Hunt, Paris; Sue (Rick) Harris, Paris and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Harold Wagoner and Ruby Wagoner; his brother Larry Wagoner; sister-in-law Sharon Wagoner.
Visitation will 12-3 pm Sunday, November 16 with service to follow at 3:00. Visitation and service will be at Highland Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville.
