George Thomas Love

George Thomas Love, age 81, of Paris, departed this life on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Willowbrook Healthcare in Carlisle, Kentucky. George was born in Nicholas County on March 5, 1944, the son of the late George William and Anna Buntin Herrin Love and was a graduate of Bourbon County High School where he achieved perfect attendance for 13 years. After graduation he worked for the University of Kentucky as a lab technician until his retirement, later working at Save-A-Lot, Smits Florist, was a local farmer, and attended Mount Carmel Christian Church as well as Ruddles Mill Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Roe and Frances Peck.
Survivors include his sisters, Mary Lou Linville, Mayme Irvin, Sue (Gary) Carter; nieces and nephews, Anna Jones, Tammy (Jimmy) Willard, Tonya (Jon) Hatfield, and Jarrod (Julie) Carter. Also surviving are several great nieces and great nephews.
The graveside service for George Thomas Love will be at Paris Cemetery Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, with Celebrant, Sharon L. Berry officiating. Interment will immediately follow with honorary bearers being Gary Carter, Jarrod Carter, Jon Hatfield, Ben Jefferson, Gannon Parson, Jimmy Willard, Roy Lee Clark, David Smits, and Jimmy Mason. www.hintonturner.com
