Roger Wayne Soard

Roger Wayne Soard, 69, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at his home in Nicholas County.
Born June 3, 1956, he was a son of the late Ray and Wilma Fogle. Roger was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin Soard, Ray Fogle, Jr., and Mitchell Fogle; a sister, Charlotte Cook; and a foster brother, Glenn Fryman.
In his healthier days, Roger enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, playing his guitar, singing, and making people laugh.
Surviving are his longtime companion, Melody Graves; sons, Roger Thomas Soard and Michael Keller; stepson, Tyler Graves; daughters: Amanda Thomas, Amber Soard, Ashley Thompson and Jessica Johnson; his sister, Gina (Larry) Price; several grandchildren, two of which shared his home, Michael and Aubree Graves; and very special friends, Steve Spoonemore and Rick and Vicki Tubbs.
Private burial will be on the family lot in the Lower Curry Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
