Roy Leo Johnson, Jr.

Roy Leo Johnson, Jr., 77, died Saturday February 14, 2026, at the Breathitt Health and Rehabilitation in Jackson, KY. He was born in Paris, KY to the late Roy Leo Johnson, Sr. and the late Ruby Bell Dwelly Johnson.
Roy was a retired employee with the United States Postal Service and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed talking with family and friends and he also liked to fish.
He is survived by one aunt, Dena Combs; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including Raymond (Paula) Combs, Jr., John Combs; nephews, Keith Buchanan and Darryl Buchanan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Heidi Johnson and a nephew, Ronnie Buchanan.
Graveside services were conducted at 12:30 PM Wednesday February 18, 2026, at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY with full military honors.
