Ray Franklin Ham Jr.
Ray Franklin Ham Jr., lovingly known as ‘Porky’’, age 77, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
A lifelong resident of Millersburg, Kentucky, Ray was born to the late Gladys Hinkson Ham and Ray Frankin Sr. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ray married the love of his life, Agnes Price Ham, on December 1, 1967. They shared fifty wonderful years of marriage before her passing.
Ray dedicated forty-seven years of his life as a welder with Stamler/Oldenburg Group, where he eventually retired. He was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family.
He found joy in the simple things in life-warm weather, sunshine, hunting, fishing, and most of all, spending time with family. Ray was known for his big heart, kindness, and the way he made others feel welcome. He never met a stranger and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his son, Timothy (Veronica) Ham; his daughter, Traci (David) Hunter; and a sister, Bertha ( Jim) Wagner, He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Joshua (Alicia) Hill, Cody Ham ( Selena Sanchez), Casey Ham, T.J. Ham ( Brittany Tolson), Austin Hedges and Colton Underwood, as well as his great-grandchildren, Aiden Ham, Cameran Ham, Colton Ham, Hunter Ham, and Lexi Ham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ray also leaves behind a special friend and helper, Michael Isaacs, and his beloved dog, Cheyenne.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife Agnes, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Kenneth Rankin, David Lee Rankin, Louis Rankin, and Donald ‘’Duck’’ Rankin, and his sisters, Mary Hill, Roberta Cook and Cora Coffee.
Visitation was from 5 – 8 pm on Wednesday March 25, 2026, at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home 203 Eastern Avenue, Carlisle, Kentucky 40311. Funeral services were held Thursday March 26, 2026, at 12 pm with Pastor Krista Hampton officiated with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cody Ham, Casey Ham, T.J. Ham, Austin Hedges, Colton Underwood, and Cameran Ham. Honorary pallbearers are Monte Wells, Bobby Graves, Stevie Rankin, Jimmy Bussell, and Michael Isaacs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators ( Hospice). Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
