Margaret Wells King

Margaret Wells King, age 91, widow of Harold Collier King, died Friday, April 17, 2026 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home. She was born March 25, 1935 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late Harry Bennett and Ida Lee Carter Wells. Margaret attended Paris High School and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church.
Margaret is survived by three grandchildren, Erica Hubbard, Peyton D. King, Jacob C. King; four great grandchildren, Desiree Couve, Rylie Jackson, Kaylee Hubbard, Braylen King; a sister, Nina McClain; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by two sons, Harold Davis King, Joe Collier King; sisters, Stella Browning, Ethel Blake, Anna B. Link, Ruby Linville; and brothers, Harry, Elmer, Dean, Marion, and Lindbergh Wells.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2026 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Bro. Gary Willoughby. Interment will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Joshua Hudnall, Jeremy Hudnall, Scott Wells, Marty Wells, Chris Blake, Tommy King, and Scott King.
