Charles “Charlie” Raymond Yazell Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Raymond Yazell Jr., age 69, died Friday, April 17, 2026 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born March 17, 1957 in Paris, son of the late Charles Raymond and Nancy Herrington Yazell. Charlie was a 1975 graduate of Bourbon County High School, and attended Alice Lloyd College and Union College, graduating with a degree in accounting. He was a member of the Paris City Club and former member of the Stoner Creek Country where he loved to play golf.
Charlie is survived by a son, Dalton Yazell; brother, Ronnie Yazell; sister, Brenda Brown; grandchildren, Boston Yazell, Lane Smith, Kashton Yazell, Keeli Yazell; and a niece, Kari Sexton. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Moore and Sherry Hamilton.
Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 12 noon with Celebrant Sharon Berry officiating. Interment will be in the Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers were Jeremy Wigglesworth, Mike Boone, Kim Boone, Mike Tubbs, Rick Mingua, Jacob Wells, Rick Carpenter, and Jalen Owens.
