Pamela Gail Poe
Pamela Gail Poe, age 67, of Paris, departed this life on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Bourbon Heights after weeks of fighting a courageous health battle, while surrounded by those that loved her deeply. Pam was born in Paris, Kentucky on February 03, 1959, the daughter of the late Roy Elvest and Martha Lee Hudnall Poe, a 1977 Graduate of Bourbon County High School, attended the University of Kentucky, and retired from the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture after 36 years, having worked in many capacities, one of the latter being Administrative Assistant to the Dean as well as the Special Events Coordinator. She was a vital part of the Bourbon County community having served as a member of the Kiwanis Club, involved in the many horse murals in Paris, as well as an active member of First Baptist Church – Paris, and was a Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed working in her garden, planting flowers, landscaping, and loved everything U.K., especially basketball.
Remaining to cherish her memory is a brother, David (Rachel) Poe; nephews, Logan (Hillary) Poe, Bryan (Tara) Poe, Aaron (Mady) Poe; great nieces, Lilly Poe and Annalee Poe; and a great nephew, Graham Poe.
The visitation for Pamela Gail Poe will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with funeral to begin at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Kyle Sullivan. Interment will follow in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Logan Poe, Bryan Poe, Aaron Poe, Danny Biddle, John Fritsch, Adam Hurst, Paul Hurst, and Rick Hudnall. Honoray bearers are The “Ag Girls” and the Lynnwood Drive residents.
