Minnie Cochran Wright Davis

Minnie Cochran Wright Davis, age 96, of Millersburg, Kentucky, widow of Joe Prewitt Davis, departed this life on Friday afternoon, May 8, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. Minnie was born in Bourbon County, on August 28, 1929, the daughter of the late John David and Amelia Hurst Wright, was a 1947 graduate from Bourbon County High School in Millersburg, Kentucky, and attended Brenau College in Gainesville, Georgia. Having been baptized at a very early age at Millersburg Presbyterian Church, it quickly became a very important part of her life and at the age of twelve she became a faithful member and remained so her entire life. She was also very active in her community, having been a member of the Millersburg Garden Club for many years and was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Millersburg Cemetery Board for ten years.
Those surviving to cherish her memory are her four children, James Tod (Becky) Davis, Susan (Castle) Redmon, Linda Williams, Robert F. Davis; grandchildren, Kelly (Zack) Fryman, Michael Davis (Emily Alcorn), Charles Tapp (Rachel Johnson), Joshua (Shelby) Davis, and Meredith (Ryan) Lamkin. Also surviving are ten great grandchildren as well as a special niece, Charlotte W. Box, and several nephews.
The visitation for Minnie Cochran Wright Davis will be at Millersburg Presbyterian Church on Friday, May 15, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with funeral at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Millersburg Cemetery with casket bearers being Zack Fryman, Michael Davis, Charles Tapp, Joshua Davis, Ryan Lamkin, Braxton Fryman, and Caleb Davis.
The family would like to give special acknowledgement and thanks to the wonderful caregivers, Betty Adamson, Kerrie Alvarez, Glenda Cook, June Sharp, and Kristie Petitt.
