Carmen Ramírez

Carmen Ramírez, de 63 años, residente de Paris, Kentucky, falleció el 8 de mayo de 2026. Nació el 20 de marzo de 1963 en Durango, México, y vivió una vida marcada por su calidez, devoción y un espíritu alegre que conmovió a todos los que la conocieron.
Carmen fue una madre, abuela, hermana, tía y amiga amorosa, cuya mayor felicidad provenía de estar rodeada de sus seres queridos. Le sobreviven sus tres hijos: Luis y su esposa Thalia, Aron, y Karen y su esposo Jorge. También deja a ocho nietos muy queridos: Jamileth, Maritza, Nahomy, Melanie, Renata, Dylan, Mia y Noah, quienes fueron su mayor orgullo y alegría. Asimismo, le sobreviven sus cuatro hermanas: Hermelinda, Ma. Del Socorro, Ana Bertha y Juana María; su hermano Jorge Luis; y varios sobrinos, sobrinas y primos que siempre atesoran su memoria.
Fue precedida en muerte por sus padres, Antonio Ramírez y Carlota Marrufo Ramírez, así como por su hermana, María del Refugio, y su hermano, Antonio. Sus recuerdos permanecieron siempre cerca de su corazón a lo largo de su vida.
Carmen era una fiel integrante de la Iglesia Católica de la Anunciación en Paris, Kentucky, donde encontró compañerismo y consuelo espiritual. Su fe era una parte fundamental de su ser y la guió con gracia y fortaleza a través de las distintas etapas de la vida.
Quienes conocieron a Carmen la recordarán como alguien amable, bondadosa y cariñosa. Era una persona muy alegre que no conocía a un extraño, poseía el don especial de hacer que los demás se sintieran bienvenidos y valorados. Le encantaba bailar, disfrutaba viajar y encontraba alegría al ir de compras y celebrar la vida con una buena fiesta. Por encima de todo, amaba pasar tiempo con su familia; esos momentos fueron los más significativos de su vida.
La presencia de Carmen trajo luz y risas a su familia y amigos. Su naturaleza amorosa, su personalidad alegre y su corazón generoso serán profundamente extrañados y recordados con cariño por todos los que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla. Aunque su partida deja un gran vacío, su legado de bondad, alegría y devoción a la familia continuará viviendo en los corazones de quienes amó.

Carmen Ramirez, age 63, of Paris, Kentucky, passed away on May 8, 2026. She was born on March 20, 1963, in Durango, Mexico, and lived a life marked by warmth, devotion, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone she met.
Carmen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose greatest happiness came from being surrounded by the people she loved. She is survived by her three children, Luis and his wife Thalia, Aron, and Karen and her husband Jorge. She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren, Jamileth, Maritza, Nahomy, Melanie, Renata, Dylan, Mia, and Noah, who brought her endless pride and joy. Carmen is also survived by her four sisters, Hermelinda, Ma. Del Socorro, Ana Bertha, and Juana Maria, her brother Jorge, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever treasure her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Ramirez and Carlota Marrufo Ramirez, as well as her sister, Maria Del Refugio, and her brother, Antonio. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Carmen was a faithful member of The Catholic Church of the Annunciation in Paris, Kentucky, where she found fellowship and spiritual comfort. Her faith was an important part of who she was and guided her with grace and strength through life’s many seasons.
Those who knew Carmen will remember her as friendly, kind, and loving. She was a very happy person who never met a stranger, and she had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcome and valued. She loved to dance, enjoyed traveling, and found joy in shopping and celebrating life with a good party. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, and those moments were among the most meaningful of her life.
Carmen’s presence brought light and laughter to her family and friends. Her loving nature, cheerful personality, and generous heart will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Though her passing leaves a great emptiness, her legacy of kindness, joy, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.
Funeral Mass will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation, 1007 Main Street, Paris, KY by Father Jeff Estacio.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Saturday May 16, 2026, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. A Rosary service will be conducted at 12:00 PM Saturday May 16, 2026, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Luis, Aron, Karen, Edgar, Horacio and Carlos.
