Johnna Marie Kidd

Johnna Marie Kidd, age 64, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away, surrounded by her family, on May 23, 2026. Johnna was born in Paris, KY on December 22, 1961 to John and Janet Steuart.
Johnna was a loving woman who always wanted to go that extra mile to make sure the needs of others were being met. She was the epitome of southern hospitality and often called the “cool mom” and “cool aunt”. She was very crafty, loved cooking, camping, fishing, and traveling; she was always dreaming of her next adventure. She often said she was a gypsy at heart. Johnna fondly remembered her days of dancing, both disco and belly dancing.
Johnna is survived by her daughters: Tricia Kidd, Nikki Kidd (Rob Hill), and Kristi Deela (Brandon Klar); grandchildren: Christopher Dees (Jaz Dees), Kennidee Hill (Nix Hill), Sunny Hernandez, and Lindsay Deela; great grandchildren: Eliora Dees and Archer Hill; sisters: Jeanna Johnson (Billy Johnson), Joan Steuart Liter, and Jan Watson (John Watson); soul sister: April Hayes (Shawn Roberts); and her true love and father of her children: Mitchell Kidd; as well many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
In keeping with Johnna’s giving spirit, she chose to give her remains to medical science in hopes of finding treatment options for the future. In lieu of a funeral, the family will hold a private memorial at a later date. As per Johnna’s request, she asked that anyone wishing to donate flowers to please redirect those funds as a donation to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
