Dorothy Jean Cline Anderson

Dorothy Jean Cline Anderson, age 91, of Paris, widow of Bobby C. Anderson, departed this life on Tuesday evening, July 28, 2026, at Bourbon Heights Nursing Facility. Dorothy was born in Bourbon County on March 11, 1935, the daughter of the late Oliver Thomas and Mary Nelle Setters Cline, attended school at Little Rock School and had retired from Kentucky Textiles where she worked many years as a machine operator. She was the former treasurer and active member of the Bourbon County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, a member of the Bourbon Street Cruisers, an avid Kentucky Basketball fan, and a member of the Paris Church of Christ on South Main Street. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Wasson, a son, James L. Tubbs, and siblings, Mattie White, Bill Cline, Stanley “Buster” Cline, John B. Cline, Norma Mozart, Pearl Shout, and Minnie Ginter.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Sexton, Donna Thwaites, Hazel (Ronnie) Mynear; sons, Ricky (Vicki) Tubbs, and Terry (Theresa) Tubbs. Also surviving is a special sister-in-law, Hazel Cline, as well as thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren.
The visitation for Dorothy Jean Cline Anderson began at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with the service at 11:30 a.m., officiated by Rev. Steve Baker. Interment will follow in Paris cemetery with casket bearers being Austin Tubbs, Christopher Thwaites, Adam Tubbs, Aaron Tubbs, Eric Dale, Wayne Manley, Jr., and Jason Davis.
