Nancy Elizabeth Sidles

Nancy Elizabeth Sidles, age 80, a resident of Jefferson County, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Nancy was born on June 9, 1946, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Wilson “J.W.” and Virginia Agnes Fritz Sidles, was a 1964 graduate of Bourbon County High School as well as Fugazzi Business College in 1965, and was retired, having worked as an Underwriting Assistant in the Insurance industry. She enjoyed sewing, reading, genealogy, history, traveling, arts and crafts, and was of the Catholic faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Wayne Sidles, and a niece, Lisa Sidles.
Those surviving that will miss her greatly are a sister, Mary Teresa Sidles; a brother, Michael Dean Sidles; along with nephews, John Sidles, Richard (Ashley) Sidles, David (Amber) Sidles, Steven Sidles; great nieces and nephews; and a former sister-in-law, Debbie Sidles.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation, Paris, with Rev. Jeffrey Estacio officiating. Interment followed in St. Edwards cemetery with her nephews and great nephews as casket bearers. Visitation was held on Sunday evening, August 16, 2026, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with Rosary being at 7:30 p.m.
