She was proceeded in death by her grandmother, Mattie Sturgeon, grandmother, Frances Hollon, and sister-in-law, Becca Neaves.
Elizabeth was a loving mom who lived her life on the sidelines watching her kids in all their favorite activities. Liz is remembered as a hard worker who never complained during her 12 1/2 years as an EDDA at Dr. Mandy Thornberry’s dentist office, whose staff was like a second family to her. She devoted many hours of volunteer service to the YMCA youth sports board and soccer program. As a strong Christian woman, she chaperoned countless youth activities with FBC and River of Life Ministries, including a weeklong mission trip to Haiti. Sis loved cooking for the holidays, Christmas movies, inside jokes, beach trips, UK sports, her wiener dogs, Maize and Sissie, and exercising. She famously completed twenty-three 5K races in 2023. Liz was always up for an adventure, concert or party- always photographing every moment. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
