Jacquen Durea “Jock” Allen, 48, husband of Michelle Gaddis Allen, died Thursday January 30, 2020 at his home in Lexington, KY.
He was born in Lexington, KY to Rev. William E. Allen and Francine Crumbie Talley. He was a employee of the Mayflower Moving Company, a member of the First Baptist Church, Paris, KY and a graduate of Paris High School.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is also survived by five children, Ashlea Allen, Izaiah Allen, Jeriah Ishmael, Darius Allen and Kameron Allen; two sisters, Raylynn Allen and Tomeka Coleman; two step sisters, Victoria Simpson and Tishana Bradshaw; aunts and uncles, Sharon and Bruce Coles, James and Edna Crumbie, Kim Crumbie, Jane Locke, Robert and Teresa Crumbie, Noreen Hurley, Phillip and Judy Crumbie, Weida Allen and Frank Percy Allen and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Byron Talley and grandparents, Elderf William H. Allen, Matilda Bradley and Robert and Betty Crumbie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday February 5, 2020 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. William E. Allen and Rev. Dr. Morgan Gilkey.
Visitation will be from 5-7PM Tuesday February 4, 2020 at the funeral home.
