Clyde Ritchie
Clyde Ritchie, 87, widower of Betty Jane Willoughby Ritchie, died Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
A native of Carlisle, KY, he was the son of the late Samuel Ritchie and Rose Sanders Ritchie. He was a farmer, a former employee of the Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington, mowed yards on the side, was an avid outdoorsman, especially liked to fish. He loved going to flea markets and antique auctions. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Korean War.
He is survived by two children, Steven (Robin) Ritchie and Brenda Griggs; two grandsons, Steven Ritchie and Trent Ritchie (Tori Jackson); four granddaughters, Aimee Griggs, April Griggs, Kimberlynn Reynolds and Brianna Brady; eleven great grandchildren, Trenten, Theron, Isabel, Sophie, Jace, Alyvia, Nicholas, Gracie, Eastyn, Caysen and Averie; one brother, Everett Ritchie; special friends, Faye Hamilton and Sabrina Goins and his dog of 15 years, Tiny.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son in law, Allen Griggs; three brothers, Homer Ritchie, Raymond Ritchie and Samuel Ritchie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2020 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Jim Fryman. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the hour of service on Monday, February 17th at the funeral home.
