Matthew “Matt” David Eubanks

Matthew “Matt” David Eubanks, 32, husband of Hannah Coomer, passed away on February 12, 2020 at UK hospital from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. He was born June 12, 1987 in Cynthiana, Ky. He was the son of David Eubanks and Lisa Florence Borders.
Matt graduated Nicholas County High School in 2006. He was an employee of 3 Star Industries, Carlisle, where he worked as a welder and designer. He loved his job and was very proud of his work. Matt was a devoted husband and a loving father. He was a wonderful person. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, love, and kindred spirit. He also attended the Silas Baptist Church.
Matt was survived by his wife, Hannah Coomer; two daughters, Triniti and Lillie Eubanks; a brother, Daniel (Staci) Eubanks ; a father, David (Pat) Eubanks ; a mother, Lisa (Mike) Borders; and paternal grandparents, Leon and Flora Eubanks. Matt leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles that were very dear to his heart and a special friend Jerry Nichols.
Matt is proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Irvin “Preacher” Florence, Augusta Florence, and Mildred McIntosh; paternal great-grandparents, Floyd and Garnetta Eubanks.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 17, 2020 at 11:00 am at Clarks Funeral Home, Carlisle, with Bro. Curtis Coots officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Sunday February 16, 2020.
Casket Bearers will be: Jerry Nichols, Daniel Eubanks, Jamie Eubanks, Gary Eubanks, James Eubanks, and Christopher Coomer.
Contributions are suggested to the Clark Funeral Home, Carlisle.
