Linda Lou (Woods) Fish
ANDERSON, IN – Linda Lou (Woods) Fish, 78, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Morocco, Indiana on September 1, 1941 to Chester and Ellen (Roadruck) Woods.
Linda married Richard L. Fish of Anderson, and they built a happy life together for 58 years. She was a respected farmer in the community, operating the family cattle and grain farm alongside her husband. Linda was a member of Bethany Christian Church. She served as a preschool Sunday School teacher for over 40 years, and as a leader of the Northside Girls and Go Getters 4-H Clubs for more than 20 years.
Survivors include her loving husband, Richard L. Fish; daughters, Brenda (Austin) Paul of Paris, Kentucky, and Debbie Blair of Kingwood, Texas; grandsons, Spencer Paul, Nelson Paul, Ethan Blair, and Parker Blair; granddaughters, Olivia Blair and Camille Blair; brother, Merlin Woods of Morocco, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Chester Fish; son-in-law, Kevin Blair; and sisters, Barbara Hall and Pat Miller.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Christian Church, 1920 N. Rangeline Rd., Anderson, IN 46012, on Friday, June 26, 2020. Visitation will continue following the service as needed. Social Distancing regulations will apply.
Memorial Services to honor Linda will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Bethany Christian Church with Bob Bell officiating.
