Billy Bryant Doyle

Billy Bryant Doyle, 86 of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died at the University of Kentucky A.B. Chandler Medical Center on July 31, 2020, after a brief illness. The son of Wilfred Owen Doyle, Sr. and Bertha Mae Adams Doyle, Billy was born in Bourbon County Kentucky on January 29, 1934.
The youngest of six children, Billy was a farmer and operated a lime hauling business. He was also a representative for Woodman of the World Life Insurance.
He is survived by his daughters, Patty Doyle, Paris, Kentucky and Judy Doyle Hudson, Kingston Springs, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brandi Doyle (John) Hahn, Evansville, Indiana; James Cody Hudson and Annie Kate Hudson of Nashville, Tennessee; step-sons, Jamie Allen George and Jason Reid George; and daughter-in-law, Roseanna Doyle of Winchester, Kentucky; great-grandsons, Seth Alexander Cannon and Ryan Thomas Cannon, Evansville, Indiana; a sister Alma Doyle Boardman, Paris, Kentucky; a very special friend, Judy H. Ratliff; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who will miss his quick wit, charm and endless stories.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Bryant Doyle; his wife, Virginia Doyle; brothers W.O. Doyle, Jr. and Enoch Hart Doyle; sisters, Margaret Hinton Doyle McKinney and Bobbie Doyle Reynolds.
Billy graduated from Nicholas County High School in 1952, was a member of the Oddville Christian Church, and the Blue Licks Masonic Lodge. He also served in the Kentucky National Guard.
Visitation took place at Carlisle; Clark Funeral Home, 203 Eastern Avenue, Carlisle, Kentucky from 10:00 am-2:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 2020, with Masonic Rites at 10 am. and the funeral immediately following at 2 p.m. Brother Wayne Tolson and Brother Johnathon Allison officiated.
Those unable to attend in person were able to view the service live through the Facebook page for Clark Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers included his Jones Lane family – Anthony and Danita Ecklar, Daryl Perraut, Jake and Lauren Denniston, Jamie Snapp, Jim Alexander, and Mike Fuller.
