Ralph Thomas Howard

Ralph Thomas Howard, 75, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, at the UK-Chandler Medical Center.
A Millersburg native, he was born March 7, 1945, to the late Leonard Francis, Sr. and Mary Agnes Soister Howard, he was a graduate of the Millersburg Military Institute, a former warehouse supervisor with the W.R. Stamler Corporation/Joy Mining and Machinery, a member of American Legion Post 257-Millersburg and the United Methodist Church. Ralph loved spending time on his boat at Cave Run Lake.
Surviving are two sons: Michael Howard, of Mt. Sterling, and Jeffery Howard, of Carlisle; two brothers: Dennis (Joyce) Howard, of Millersburg, and Leonard F. (Kathy) Howard, Jr., of Carlisle; a sister, Mary Frances (Gary) Link, of Carlisle; a special friend, Kathy Hilander, of Carlisle; his beloved dogs, Kourtney and Koko; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death were a brother, Donald Ray Howard, Sr., and a nephew, Donald Ray Howard, Jr.
A memorial service with military honors will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021, by Rev. Wayne Tolson at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 12:00 (noon), Saturday, until the time of service.
