Etta Ione Huffman Donahue
Etta Ione Huffman Donahue, 99, widow of William “Bill” Donahue, died Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home in Cynthiana, KY.
A native of Carlisle, KY, she was the daughter of the late Milo and Lola Thompson Huffman. She was a past employee with the Blue Grass Army Depot. She was a member of the Bourbon County Homemakers, a member of Central Baptist Church for 75 years and the WMU Missionaries.
She is survived by two children, Joyce Ann (Roy) Earlywine and Charles (Mary) Donahue; eight grandchildren, Damon (Debbie) Earlywine, Marty (Debbie) Earlywine, Benita “Sally” Harrington, Monte (Lisa) Earlywine, Michael Donahue, Jason Donahue, Nathan Donahue and Liam Donahue; nine great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and a host of friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Clay Donahue; two great grandsons, Ethan Clay Earlywine and Jacob Donahue.
Graveside services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 19, 2021, at the Paris Cemetery Chapel, 1603 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial was in the Paris Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Damon Earlywine, Marty Earlywine, Monte Earlywine, Jordan Earlywine, Martin Earlywine and Nathan Linville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may take the form of contributions to the Bluegrass Care Navigators 1317 US HWY 62E Cynthiana, KY 41031 or the Central Baptist Church, 829 High Street Paris, KY 40361.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120Main St., Paris, KY.
