Harold Lee Rule

Harold Lee Rule, 74, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at his home. Born on Thursday, December 12, 1946, in Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Harold Veach and Gladys Rainey Rule. Harold was a United States Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He played on the Navy Basketball team on the USS Shangri La, and was the former Vice President of VAW 912 Union at Trane Co. where he worked for 40 years. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. He loved animals, traveling, Las Vegas, and was an avid UK sports fan. Harold was of the Baptist faith.
Harold is survived by his wife, Margaret Mills Arnold Rule; son, Patrick Blair (Pamela) Lee, of Paris, KY, and two grandchildren, Kasley and Mackenzie Rule.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with burial following at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Full military honors will be performed by Caswell Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion. Honorary pallbearers include, Mickey Arnold, Colby Clay Arnold, Brenda Santos, Debbie and Donnie Lunsford, Doug Rainey, Betty and Buddy Arnold, Phillip Robb, Colby Arnold, Jr., and the Trane Retiree Luckeon Group.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2021, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.

    Harold was a long time friend and classmate, starting at North Middletown and graduating from BCHS. He will be missed by his friends and family. RIP Harold Lee. Keeping his wife Margaret, son Blair and cousin Doug Rainey in my thoughts and prayers.
