Drucilla Hall Lewis

Drucilla Hall Lewis, 90, died on March 3, 2021 at the residence of her daughter, Catherine Swain, in Dayton, Ohio. She was a native of Paris, Kentucky and attended the old Paris Western High School. Drucilla worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at various medical facilities in Dayton, Ohio, most recently at Miami Valley Hospital and had been retired for many years. She was a loyal member of St James New Zion AME Church in Dayton, belonging to the Missionary Society and the Lay Organization, as well as a member and featured soloist of the choir. She had also been a featured singer with Bishop’s Band when she resided in Paris, Kentucky many years earlier.

She is survived by six children, Delores Gaines Beasley, James (Washington) Hall, Carl (Blackburn) Hall, Catherine Warren Swain, Charles P Warren, all of Dayton, Ohio, Clausell Golston of Detroit, Michigan and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment of ashes will be held at the Cedar Heights Cemetery in Paris, Kentucky on Friday, May 28, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., Reverend Anthony Gooch of Shorter Chapel AME Church, Paris, Kentucky will be officiating.
