Louis Carlton Dutton, Jr.

Louis Carlton Dutton, Jr., husband of Mable Vest Dutton, departed this life unexpectedly at Baptist Health in Lexington, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, having attained the age of 64 years.
Louis was born on August 29, 1956, in Paris, KY, the son of the late Louis Carlton Dutton, Sr. and Dora Belle Wagoner Dutton, was a 1974 graduate of Bourbon County High School, a member of Silas Baptist Church where he was an active deacon, currently serving as Chairman, as well as being actively involved in the men’s fellowship group.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Laytart.
In addition to his wife Mable, he is survived by sons, Louis (Marissa) Dutton III, Eric (Taru) Dutton, Andrew Dutton (Rachael Hurst); grandchildren, Emily Michele Dutton, Alex Shawn Dutton, Valerie Claire Dutton, Lorenzo Carlton Dutton, and Ethan Nash Hurst. Also surviving are his sisters, Ann Dutton, Judy Duvall; a nephew, Carlton George Duvall; a niece, Katie Gayle Duvall; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Louis Carlton Dutton, Jr. will be at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Silas Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Coots officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery with casket bearers being Alex Dutton, Louis Dutton III, Eric Dutton, Andrew Dutton, Gary Wilson, Matthew True, Lane Doll, and Carlton Duvall. Honorary bearers are Lorenzo Dutton, Ethan Hurst, Valerie Dutton, and Emily Dutton. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., until time for the service.
