Charlene Stumph Hill
Charlene Stumph Hill, 80, of Millersburg, wife of Herbert T. “Ted” Hill for 62 years, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born May 10, 1941, in Bourbon County to the late Hartford & Minnie Grove Stumph, she was a 1959 graduate of Bourbon County High School, had been a member of the Indian Creek Homemakers and was a longtime devoted member of Cynthiana First Church of God, where she had served as the church secretary.
Also left to cherish Charlene’s memory are her three children: Victoria (Eric) Ward of Annapolis, Maryland, Mike (Liese) Hill of Emporia, Kansas and Jeff (Bobbie) Hill of Union City, Indiana; six grandchildren: Jim Ward, Jason Ward, Jackie Ward Primiano, Jessie Brooks, Jennie Crook and Linda Jo Morris; ten great-grandchildren: Avalie, Emmie and Reece Brooks, Shane, Kody and Damon Anderson, Grayson Morris and Frederick, Trudy and Kieran Ward; and two sisters, Faye Stumph and Rita Pemberton.
Also preceding her in death were a granddaughter, Amber Hill; a brother, Thomas Stumph; and a sister, Betty Stephens.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 25, at Cynthiana First Church of God. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m., Thursday, at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home.
