Bobbie Jean Traylor Benton

Bobbie Jean Traylor Benton, 59, wife of Joseph “Joe” Benton for over 40 years, died Thursday September 2, 2021.
She was born in Delaware, OH, to the late Robert “Bobby” “Snag” Gene Traylor, Sr. and the late Mary Lou Borham Traylor. She was a former seamstress at Kentucky Textiles and was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Amanda Benton and Josie Benton (David Watkins); six grandchildren, Kailey Benton (Richard Pence), Ethan Wood, Charlie Watkins, Olivia Watkins, Ellie Watkins and Paisley Tucker; four sisters, Glenda Baker, Bonnie Marler, Jodee (Chris) Allen and Cindy (Allen) Richards; one brother, Robert Gene Traylor II; special friends, Theresa Nolen, Debbie Hendrix Traylor, Emma Jones Traylor and Janet Rodriguez and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Roberta Godfrey.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2021, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
