Charlotte Marie Conner

Charlotte Marie Conner was born July 22, 1952, in Paris, Kentucky to the union of James R. Conner, Jr. and Alma Marie Mayberry.
She received Christ at an early age and was a member at East Second Christian Church where she served on the culinary committee.
Charlotte united in marriage with George Clark on June 14, 1975.
She was an avid reader and she loved to cook. But most of all, she had an unconditional love for her family.
Even though she didn’t have children of her own, she was a mother to many.
Charlotte leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of 46 years, George Clark; her two brothers, James (Marissa) Conner, III and Greg (Shanda) Conner, Sr.; three nieces, Yika Conner-Jones, Shayla Conner and Alyssa Conner-Hampton; three nephews, Jason Wheat, James Aaron Conner and Greg Conner, Jr.; her beloved great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins, who will miss her and continue her legacy of love; as well as her special “sisters-in-Christ,” Miss Willie Hyde, Mrs. Pat Clay and Miss Pat Nuttal, and a special blessing, Andreitia Gassett.
Funeral services were held on September 13 at Smith and Smith Funeral Home in Lexington with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
