Brenda Biddle McFaddin

Brenda Biddle McFaddin, wife of Brian D. McFaddin, mother of Haley M. Burkhead and step-mom to Brianna McFaddin began her eternity in heaven September 16, 2021, at UK Hospital after a brief illness.
She was a 1987 graduate of Bourbon County High School and a 2017 graduate of University of the Cumberlands with a Business Administration degree. She was employed at UK office of Legal Counsel.
Brenda will be remembered and missed for her infectious laugh and her ability to draw people into her joy for life. Her special talent was the ability to turn any word or phrase into a song. She enjoyed having her Dad build a fire and sitting with her family talking and laughing while roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. She loved camping with Brian and counted down the days until the next adventure. She cherished spending time with Haley watching movies or shopping. Christmas days were full of laughter while special memories were made. She loved to spend time with Brianna and was happy to be her step-mom. She did not take for granted how fortunate she was to find her soul mate and married the man of her dreams when she and Brian married October 14, 2011.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a young child and was active in church groups and children’s departments. She was a member of Bethel Christian Church. She had a passion for children and became a mentor for young mothers and loved those children as her own. She was given the name Nani, by her nephew, many years ago which quickly became the name that was used by everyone closest to her.
Brenda often quoted her favorite Bible verse Phillipians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She found joy in her salvation and her pride was in her daughter Haley.
Brenda is survived by her parents David and Patricia Biddle Sr., her siblings Deborah (Gip) Carr, Dave Jr. and Beverly (Bill) Bales. Brother-in-law Gary (Rebecca) McFaddin, sisters-in-law Gari (Ray) Howard, Jessie (Todd) Trimble. Brenda had chosen cremation and a celebration of her life will be held and will include her favorite things while here on earth October 2, 2021, at the home of her parents.
In lieu of flowers she wished for donations to be made in her honor to Sisters Road to Freedom 2350 Woodhill Dr., Ste. 68, Lexington, KY 40509, or your favorite church or charity.
