Michael Ray Rhodus

Michael Ray Rhodus, husband of Carolann Crump Rhodus, passed away October 3, 2021, from COVID. He had fought the battle for three weeks.
Michael was born April 5, 1954, in Wayne County, IN, to Jean Massie Sparks and the late Glenn Ray Rhodus. Michael worked at Georgetown Metal Stamping after high school and then worked with his brother, Mark, in the horse business which he loved until he retired. Besides his wife, Michael is survived by his mother, Jean Massie Sparks, Mother in law, Bessie Crump, step mother, Gladys Rhodus, uncle, Jack Massie, aunt, Jo Ann Massie; step brothers, Steve (Tess) Sparks, Keith Sparks (Reno Sansone) and Don (Sheldia) Sparks; niece, Amanda (Stephen) Cassity; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews; step sister, Shirley Pettit Morgan and step brother, Willie B. Pettit, step daughter, Jessica Crump (Brittian Billups); step grand children, Kimberly, Katelyn, Cody and Aylla and Kamari and brother in laws.
Besides his father, Michael was preceded in death by his step father, Donald Sparks; his brother, Mark Wayne Rhodus, sister Patti Sue Rhodus and Douglas Ray Rhodus, grandparents, Roy and Mamie Massie and Efford and Myrtle Rhodus.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021, at the M.E. Pruitt Funeral Home, 303 Main St., Millersburg, KY, by Rev. William Garr. Burial will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, KY.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 8, 2021, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brittian Billups, Roger Peters, Lee Padgett, Ray Campbell, Ace Powell and Wayne King.
