Elizabeth “Betsy” Saints Roark

Elizabeth “Betsy” Saints Roark died peacefully on October 14, surrounded by her family.
She spent her last two months at her favorite place, Van Buren Point with her family and best of friends. When she wasn’t sitting on the banks of Lake Erie with her loves, she worked as a manager and buyer at Artique Gallery for sixteen years.
She was a proud member of the Daughters of the King and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was most proud of being a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a devoted wife of sixty years to the love of her life.
Betsy is survived by her children Eleanor Roark, Lexington, KY, Leslie (Greg) Jordan, Cincinnati, OH, Sam (Terri) Roark, Lexington, KY; her brother Stuart (Lisa) Saints, Grand Rapids, MI; sister-in-law, Fran Saints, Tucson, AZ; her beautiful grandchildren, Audrey (Chase) Henderlight, Eric Sandknop, Charlie Jordan and Carrick Llyod.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert Roark Jr.; her parents, Charles and Eleanor Saints, Pittsburgh, PA; her brother William Saints, Tucson, AZ and her daughter, Sarah Sandknop, Versailles, KY.
There will be a service on November 6, at 9:00 a.m., at Saint Peters in Paris, KY, then to the Lexington Cemetery for the interment of ashes.
