Cozette Snowden Nutter Thomas

Cozette Snowden Nutter Thomas, 89, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, at the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY.
She was born June 26, 1932, a beloved daughter of the late Anna Louise Stevens and the late Edward Ellsworth Snowden. She was a retired cook of the Bourbon General Hospital and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She is survived by seven children, Brenda Thomas, Fadqa Shakir, Thea Hersey, Valinda Clark, William Thomas, Christie Thomas and Tracey Thomas, Sr.; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren, cousins, friends and a special grandson, Robert Thomas.
Cozette opened her arms and her home to all and loved each one as family. She was a Christ-like woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 920 Clintonville Road, Paris, KY with Bishop William Denninghoff officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Brock Clark and one step daughter, Joan Fay Thomas Smith.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the church.
Pallbearers will be Rasheed Shakir, Jashaun Thomas, Taurean Thomas, Tiion Thomas, Javan Thomas, Greg Chowning, Jordan Jackson and Myron Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Blankenship, Anthony Spivey, Mateo Clark, Drayvon Thomas, Zayvion Thomas, Jordan Garrison, Marques Thomas, Brock Clark, Tracey Thomas, Sr., Tracey Thomas, Jr., James Thomas, Rickie Thomas, Kaaman Thomas, Thomas Combs, Christopher Thomas, Aaron Shakir and Seandre Jones.
The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY.
