Helen Elaine Shelly Ray

Helen Elaine Shelly Ray, widow of Wayne Elwen Ray, departed this life at her home on Thursday, January 13, 2022, with her loving family by her side, having attained the age of 73 years. She was born on June 17, 1948, in Roger Springs, TN, the daughter of the late William Arnold Shelly and Lucille Fields Shelly, who survives. Elaine graduated from High School and was a member of Paris Church of Christ. Her favorite thing in life was getting to be Nana to her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother Lucille, she is survived by a daughter, Jamie Lynn Conner; her son and daughter-in-law, Josh Ray and his wife, Stephanie Carbonell-Ray; grandchildren, Isabel Ray, Caroline Ray, and Mylee Conner. Also surviving are brothers, Johnny Shelly, Chuck Shelly and wife Lee Ann.
There will be a private service for the family only at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Leonard officiating, with interment to immediately follow at Paris Cemetery. www.hintonturner.com
