Vanessa Darlene Banks Campbell

Vanessa Darlene Banks Campbell, 65, widow of the late Riley Joe “Jodie” Campbell, died Monday, January 23, 2022, at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY.
She was born in El Paso, TX, to Fannie Mae Clem Lutes and the late Joe L. Banks, Sr.. She was a former Nurse’s Technician. She loved crafts, sewing and spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, John Garrett and Darren Abney; four grandchildren, Christopher Garrett, Samantha Garrett, Emmit Abney and Lucas Abney; one great grandchild, Stevie Garrett; one brother, Joe Banks; one sister, Terry Chain and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Vicki Jolly and Lisa Wells.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY, by Kenny Gibson.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022, until the hour of service at the funeral home.
